These terms and conditions govern the use of the Karibs Foundation website and other Karibs-branded websites.
By using the websites, the user agrees to the terms and conditions contained herein.

The International Organization for Migration (“Karibs”) provides all materials (the “materials”) published on its websites including but not limited to texts, documents, logos, designs, visual materials, photographs and videos for informational purposes only.
karibs reserves the exclusive right, at its sole discretion, to alter, limit or discontinue its websites without notice, and shall have no obligation to take the needs of any user into consideration in connection therewith.
Karibs reserves the right to deny, at its sole discretion, any user access to its websites or any portion thereof without notice.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights relating to the materials shall remain vested in Karibs, unless otherwise stated.
Karibs reserves the right to assert ownership of information collected on the websites.
Copyright and Permissions
All materials are copyright of the International Organization for Migration, unless otherwise stated. The materials may be viewed, downloaded, shared and printed for personal and non-commercial use only, without any right to sell, resell, redistribute with commercial purposes or create derivative works therefrom.
With the notable exception of media information, any other use including extraction, translation, reproduction, and distribution, in any form, or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, or otherwise, require the explicit prior written permission of Karibs.

Media Information
Press Releases, Stories and Press Briefing Notes may be reproduced freely without the right to sell or charge for its use, provided Karibs is specifically and clearly identified as the source of the materials.
Videos may be shown, reproduced and/or broadcasted freely without the right to sell or charge for its use, unless otherwise stated. For non-Karibs copyright video materials in broadcast quality, please refer to shot lists for information on access and restrictions.

Users can browse the websites without revealing any personal information.
Monitoring Website Traffic
Karibs monitors general trends in the use of its websites.
Karibs uses the information to generate statistics and measure the websites’ activity in order to improve the usefulness of the websites. This information is never connected with any personal information you supply to Karibs if you register for one of Karibs’s services, online orders or make a credit card payment.

Karibs does not sell, distribute or rent personal information collected on its websites.
Karibs relies on online service providers for the provision of services, such as hosting services, website traffic analysis, electronic newsletters, online surveys, online shopping carts and electronic payment solutions.
If you are purchasing goods or services on the websites, you may be asked to provide your credit card details. These details are transferred to a secure online payment service provider, hosted outside Karibs. Karibs does not retain credit card information.
Karibs does not share personal information with any third party, unless it is related to the provision of services such as purchasing a publication, completing a survey or making a donation.
Karibs does not intend to either solicit or collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 years. Individuals under the age of 13, should not use or enter information on the websites.

Bugs, Virus, Malicious Code, etc.
While Karibs makes every effort to ensure the materials available on its websites are free of any software virus, it cannot guarantee that the materials are free from any or all software viruses. Karibs is not responsible for any loss or damage caused by software and related codes, including viruses and worms.
