Typical day
In a typical days apart from weekends which is automatically free day unless otherwise, will be great to wake up by 7am, organize yourself and have breakfast with your host family. Then set off. Activities starts by 8.30am. There will be other volunteers depending on the season. Your host family house will be close to the school therefore it will be a walking distance from your home to the school/center.
Activities start between 8.30 to 10.30am then you go for break for half an hour, then return and continue. You have the liberty break as at when you please once it wont interrupt or it wont delay learning or daily activities. Same routine applies throughout the week unless there is a significant change and or a tangible reason to make some amendments.
After the close of school you can return to your host family home, take rest and or walk about or go to town with your local guide if you so wishes before dinner. After dinner you are allow to explore a night life activities. Ghana is peace and safe, however is prudent to exercise caution and avoid late night travels.
Weekends is entirely free you can have time with other volunteers or whoever you are comfortable with or you can travel for sightseeing and tour activities.
Free-time activities
On your free days, that is on weekends or a holiday, there are and will be several activities to do, below are activities you can choose to engage on.

Aside these, they may be community activities such as cultural drumming and dancing, wedding and or naming ceremony events, there you will have the rare chance of experiencing how some of these activities are done differently in an African setting.

Requirements:
*Minimum Age: 16 years
*In order to join the program you need to be at least 16 years old on the program start date.

*You need to speak English (basic level)
*Education Requirements
*From Humanities to Scineces, all knowledge and skills remain valuable and matters to us with uttermost respect. at Atleast start from High School/Vocation/Technical School level

Other Skills
Singing, Arts, Games, Knowledge of instruments use, poetry and gymnastic
Time Commitment
Your helping hand will be required on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 08:30 - 14:30
What's Included
Services by Teach Music & Language to Kids
The fees include, feeding, three square meal a day, by the whole duration of stay. Accommodation and airport pick up and drop off. Modest souvenirs is also available and one funded day trip whether within or outside Accra.

*Accommodation is going to be in a host family where you will have the opportunity to learn how to make Ghanaian/African meal. You will have toilet and bath within and a working space/table. There may be internet but limited, just as you know.

*Yes food and drink is also inclusive, there is provision of water and drinks (Minerals only). As stated above three square meals will be provided, also there will be side attractions of fruits and vegetables.

What's NOT included?
* Visa, flights, travel insurance or vaccinations are NOT included in the program fees.
* Flight Tickets
* The nearest airport is Kotoka International Airport (ACC) in Accra. We assist you to find cheap flights to Ghana.
Travel Insurance
Going abroad is an adventure and it is always best to be prepared. Sudden illness or injury, cancellation or theft - a travel insurance for Ghana provides security and is a plus to have.
Vaccines
If you are intending to volunteer in Ghana you should seek medical advice before starting your social journey. Check your required vaccinations for Ghana.
Details on arrival
Our program is year long, volunteers can join always, even when regular schools are on vacation we are in session because is a continuous learning to everyday children in dire need of education and skills to better their lives. Therefore from January to December we are ready and you are always welcome to come.
